CuraSim vs Claude
Claude is Anthropic’s general-purpose AI assistant; Claude for Healthcare adds HIPAA-ready offerings, healthcare connectors and optional health-record links.

The short answer
Claude reads and writes superbly but has no homeopathic repertory or grading; CuraSim does the repertorization and shows the rubrics behind every remedy.
- Answers tied to the books, not to the internet. CuraSim’s case analysis may only choose real rubrics from Kent’s repertory — anything off-menu is dropped — and shows the rubrics behind every remedy; thirteen named repertories are there when you repertorize by hand. A general model has no repertory — it can sound sure of a remedy with nothing you can check behind it.
- Grading the way the books printed it. Kent’s three type-faces, Boenninghausen’s and Boger’s five, Boericke’s two — CuraSim keeps each book’s own grades, so a remedy’s strength in a rubric means what the author meant.
- You stay the prescriber. Every proposed rubric can be marked more important or removed, and you can add your own from the repertory; the shortlist re-ranks in front of you by plain arithmetic, not AI. Nothing is hidden in a prompt.
- The case stays with the patient. Rubrics, the repertorization grid, prescriptions and follow-ups live on the patient’s record — not scattered across chat threads you have to copy back out.
What Claude is
Claude handles long documents, writing, web search and code. Its healthcare offering adds connectors to PubMed, ICD-10, the NPI Registry and the CMS Coverage Database, and lets Pro and Max users link personal health data; Anthropic says health data is not used for training. It does not include a repertory or materia medica unless you upload the texts yourself.
Where Claude is genuinely strong
- Strong with long documents — books, notes and papers you upload.
- A PubMed connector for literature lookups.
- States health data is not used for training; a HIPAA-ready enterprise option.

When Claude may suit you better
For research reading and writing — summarising a paper, drafting a lecture — Claude is excellent. It is not a repertory, and it does not keep your cases.
The fairest test is your own: run the same two or three completed, de-identified cases through both, and compare the rubrics each one finds, how clearly it shows its reasoning, and how much you had to correct. CuraSim’s Student plan is free, so that test costs nothing on our side.
Try the comparison on your own cases
Thirteen repertories, AI that shows its working, and the whole patient record — free to start, no card required.
CuraSim is clinical decision support for qualified practitioners. No software replaces clinical assessment, referral, or the prescriber’s responsibility for the remedy, potency and follow-up. Product names belong to their owners and are used here only to identify them.
